Take Em Adventures: Pioneering Wildlife Management and Nuisance Animal Control
In a world that’s ever-changing, where the wild and the tamed brush against each other, there’s a tale of a company, Take Em Adventures, woven from the very heart of the great outdoors. This is the story of Ryan Downing, a man whose life has been a journey through different terrains – from the military to the police force, and into the realms of wildlife and adventure.
The Early Days: A Love for the Outdoors
Ryan’s tale begins in the embrace of nature. Since his youth, the outdoors was his second home. This love didn’t wane; it only grew stronger. Upon high school graduation, he enlisted in the military, serving his country with the same passion he had for the wild. After his service, Ryan joined the police force, where fate had another plan in store for him.
Meeting John Simpson: A Partnership Forms
It was during his time as a cop that Ryan met John Simpson, a man with about 40 years of experience in hunting and trapping. Ryan, who had been a waterfowl hunting enthusiast since 2000, found a kindred spirit in John. Around 2014, their shared passion led them to many hunting adventures together.
A Business Is Born: From Nuisance to Opportunity
Their journey took a turn when they started trapping nuisance beavers and removing starlings for farmers in exchange for hunting rights. Soon, local municipalities took notice and sought their expertise for their own beaver troubles. As they trapped beavers for clients, they also began managing skunks, raccoons, and opossums, leading to the birth of Take Em Adventures in August 2021.
The Growth: Joining Forces with Daryl Gauvin and R.J. Parron
The company’s growth attracted Daryl Gauvin, a successful business owner, military veteran, and outdoor enthusiast. Daryl brought his experience with nuisance bats to the team. R.J. Parron, with his 40-year experience in construction and expertise in land animal trapping, joined too, adding his skills in property repair from animal damage.
The Present: A Focus on Beavers and Beyond
Currently, Take Em Adventures focuses primarily on beavers, but the vision is expansive. The team aims to manage all wildlife in their region, adapting and growing with the business.
Always Ready: A Commitment to Service
True to their commitment, the team at Take Em Adventures is available 24/7. They understand that wildlife doesn’t adhere to human schedules, so they don’t either. Whether it’s a weekend or a holiday, they are just a call away, ready to tackle any challenge nature throws their way.
In the fabric of Take Em Adventures, there’s a thread that runs deep—a love for the wild, a respect for nature, and a dedication to service. It’s a story of passion, partnership, and perseverance, a tale as vibrant and enduring as the great outdoors they cherish.
